
Lindsay Poirier, LMHC
Lindsay is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who completed undergraduate degrees in Psychology and English from St. Lawrence University prior to earning her Master’s in Counseling and Community Psychology at Sage Graduate School. Lindsay’s clinical experience ranges from crisis evaluation and intervention in an emergency room setting to outpatient therapy in school and clinic-based positions. Lindsay has worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families on a variety of presenting concerns; she also provides Equine Assisted Psychotherapy in partnership with Therapeutic Horses of Saratoga. Lindsay believes the most valuable clinical work occurs through collaboration with the client to empower them to recognize their values, strengths, and priorities, to challenge themselves in therapeutic ways. She practices an integrated clinical approach, with emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Growth Mindset and solution-focused framework.
